Pavagadh’s Mahakali Temple is located on top of the Pavagadh hill which is around 45 kilometers from baroda. The Mahakali Temple at Pavagadh, it is believed to be one of the 51 Shaktipeeths. According to mythology, part of Sati’s toe fell here.
Mahakali temple is situated on Pavagadh hill near Champaner in Panchmahal district of Gujarat. The Mahakali Temple on top of the Pavagadh Hill is a small one and darshan of the goddess scarcely took more than 10 minutes.
