Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojna is a group life insurance term plan. Prime Minister Narendra Modi have been launched three financial inclusion schemes on 9 May 2015, nearly nine months after he launched the first one Jan Dhan Yojna.

PMSBY 2015 insurance scheme is also worth Rs. 2 lakh at an annual Premium of Rs.12. All savings bank account holders in the age group of 18 to 70 years are eligible for it. It will cover death or permanent disability due to accident.  The premium will be directly auto debited by the bank from the subscribers account.

Period of Insurance, Annual : 1st June 2015 – 31st May 2016

All you have to do is to fill up the application form, which can be accessed from these websites of Jana Suraksha and Financial Services. Otherwise, forms can also be procured from all banks.
