Famous Kutch Desert Wildlife Sanctuary in Gujarat

The famous Kutch desert wildlife sanctuary which is situated in the great Rann of Kutch, Gujarat. This sanctuary which encompasses a saline desert where thousands of Flamingoes are breed in the world of flamingo city. The area has been declared as a sanctuary in February 1986.

The Kutch sanctuary represents one of the widest seasonal saline areas having water depth 0.5 to 1.5 meters. After October and November water dries and entire area turns in to desert. The sanctuary contains large variety of birds and mammalian wildlife.

As Kutch is more famous for wild life and its more beautiful nature shades. As it has improved more    than past years. Mainly Kutch is popular for its White sand Rann, the Wild life sanctuary.

This is about 10 km from Kala Dungar hill. This is only reason place where flamingo breed.The main aim is preserve the nesting of birds, which is the largest sanctuary in the world no other sanctuary found like this. This sanctuary mainly combines of wastelands, forest areas and many.
