Gabbar is an upcoming 2015 Hindi action drama film, directed by Krish and produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Viacom 18 Motion Pictures. Gabber is a remake of Tamil Movie  “Ramanaa” by A.R. Murugadoss. Gabbar caste are Akshay Kumar and Shruti Haasan in the lead roles. Prakash Raj, Sonu Sood and Sunil Grover will play important supporting roles. The film is scheduled to release on 23 January 2015.

Akshay Kumar already confirmed earlier for this movie. But the hunt for female lead had  a long  list of Actress like Katrina Kaif, Asin, Sharddha Kapoor, Sonam Kapoor. Lleana D’Cruz but later Shruti Hasan selected for female lead roal in this movie opposite Akshay Kumar.
