This January 2015, VADFEST will celebrate this vibrant heritage of our state with the Garvi Gujarat Festival. Experience four musicians and singers in full flow from 16th to 19th January, 2015.

Gujarat is known the world over for its rich and dynamic tradition of classical and folk music. They are the heart and soul of Gujarat.  Experience the finest of Gujarat’s classical and folk music tradition at Garvi Gujarat Festival 2015.

All events of Garvi Gujarat Festival will be held at Navlakhi Ground, Opp. Narmada Bhavan from 7 pm to 10 pm every day. Main cultural festival is a four day special Gujarati festival Vadodara 2015.

As a tribute to Vadodara’s beloved patron of arts and music, Maharaja Sayajirao Gakewad, the last day of the Garvi Gujarat Festival will have breathtaking performances by artists exclusively from the Vadodara city. Experience four special days of Gujarat’s best folk musicians and singers in full flow.

Garvi Gujarat Festival will showcase top Gujarati artists from folk and contemporary traditions including Wasim Barelvi, Shahbuddin Rathod, Partiv Gohil and Bhumi Trivedi among others. There will also be a special presentation of folk dance forms like Tribal Dang, Kutchchi Raas, Saurashtra Garbo and others.
