Gauri Vrat Celebration in Gujarat India started from Today – July 08 2014

Gauri Vrat is very Important to every Unmarried Women and young Girls. The Vrat is dedicated to Maa Parvati. Every Girls are very excited to celebrate Famous Gauri Vrat. In 2014, the dates of Gauri Vrat is from July 8 to July 12.

Unmarried Women and Young Girls pray to Maa Parvati for get good Husbands. During the five days salt is avoided. She takes different types of Fruits nad Juice during Vrat time.

Food eaten is mainly made of wheat flour, ghee and milk. Gauri Vrat is observed for five days beginning on the Ekadashi day in the month of Ashada in the expand time of the moon. The fast ends on the day of Purnima.

Gauri Vrat 2014 Jagran will be 12th July on Saturday. where all these girls would gather together and stay up the whole night.

They would watch movies, play games,go out side with family etc. to avoid falling asleep.
