Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana (PMJDY) is National Mission for Financial Inclusion to ensure access to financial services, namely, Banking/ Savings & Deposit Accounts, Remittance, Credit, Insurance, Pension in an affordable manner.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will launch the national mission on financial inclusion named as Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana (PMJDY) on 28th August, 2014. Scheme of Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana will ensure financial access to everyone who was not able to get benefits of many other finance related government schemes.

PMJDY scheme is planning on revolutionizing the traditional banking system in India by providing the banking opportunity and insurance coverage to all including the poor.

New Bank Account Opening for Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana

You can get an application form to apply for opening an account under the Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana.

Users need to fill up requisite details to apply for opening an account under the PMJDY scheme. The form is available both in English and Hindi.

PMJDY scheme will ensure financial access to everyone who was not able to get benefits of many other finance related government schemes like Life insurance Benefit, Loan benefits and Mobile banking facilities.

Prathan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana 2015

Accident insurance worth Rs. 2 lacs at just Rs. 12 per annum

For all bank account holders whose age is between 18 to 70 years

Insurance also covers permanent disablement to accident
