The major Indian dairy company Amul has launched its new ice cream Amul Crème Rich range of premium ice cream in two flavors including almond fudge, caramel and vanilla. Amul is the leading dairy company in India.

Amul has launched its new ice cream to expand their company more as company looking for more market. According to the Amul company, this new range is a super premium offering, which is defined as one with lower amount of freshening and a higher fat content than regular ice cream, thereby giving rich taste and more weight/volume to consumers.

It tastes creamier and richer than regular ice creams. Also, it carries high value ingredients such as premium nuts, fruits and flavors. Amul crème rich ice cream range is launched in major cities in cups of 125 ml and 500 ml tubs, priced at Rs 30 and Rs 100 respectively. Amul have launched their product on the festival season so they can get good market coverage.

Amul is the market leader with more than 40% market share in the dairy segment. Amul is the only dairy company which reaches throughout the India. The products are marketed by the Gujarat Co-operative Milk Marketing Federation, which is India’s largest food products marketing organization.
