Bharatiya Sanskriti Darshan Museum also known as Folk Museum. This museum is located in Bhuj- Gujarat. This folk and art museum is founded by Ramsinji K Rathod who was a scholar of the art and folk.

This museum has designed in such a way like Hut with a huge stone door with beautiful rock figure welcoming for visitors. Museum contains an awesome collection of Kutchi folk art hand crafts for mainly countryside people of Kutch. The central area is filled with the great and beautiful paintings and textile laced with handis and wooden and other material, known as archeological specimens.

This museum has five main sections. The Sahitya Chitra is in ethnological section. Other section contains the arts like lather embroidery work , wood work , music instruments, wood carving, Kutchi work specials, old swords, bead work , silver work nd many monuments works are situated in museum. This museum is in hut shape, from that one of the hut designed like Kothala; the treasury box which is used to store and safe keep ornaments.

The museum is in summer months last of March to May are very witty so the best time to visit here in winter months of October to March. Though this museum is a very nice place for attraction of people mainly for foreigners and NRI‘s. Bharatiya Sanskriti Museum shows the Kutchi and Bharatiya Sanskriti and its creativity with culture.

Timing:

Museum is open all days except Mondays.

10:00 am to 6:00 pm.
